Community of Datz

We are a community of creators, curators, art enthusiasts, and spectators of the art world, for whom the work and life of sharing art grow from pure motives.

Datz Press / Datz Books

Datz Press is an art book press that works with photographers, designers, and bookmakers. We create, publish, and exhibit books centered on photography. We advocate for the growth of participatory artistic activity through exhibiting and publishing art, as well as art education.

Datz Books is a bookmaking studio. We collaborate with artists who want to create artist books. We suggest appropriate designs, materials, and binding procedures and complete a book. We assure an excellent book through direct management of the whole delicate process handcrafted to perfection.

Datz Museum of Art

Datz Museum of Art is a meeting place of nature’s beauty and art, located conveniently away from the busy city. DMA welcomes you to retreat and find inspiration within a community of artists. Come share your creativity and expressions in a natural environment.

DMA opened in October of 2010 in Jinsaegol, Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, with the mission to help rejuvenate one’s creative spirits. It presents a uniquely organic space where one can spend self-reflective time away from the busy city. It is our hope that those who visit will encounter true beauty and reclaim their personal imaginations, sensibilities, and perspectives to refresh their daily lives. DMA wishes for a community in which life is shared through art.
